I now travel freely and haven't experienced an acute panic attack for years, although I do suffer with depression and generalised anxiety.

Or some emotional trauma. At other times I know what’s set me off – stress and worrying, thoughts racing, not being able to get out of your own little bubble even though you know that’s what you’re doing.

Like a haze at the back of your head and a prickling in the middle of your chest. You have a constant feeling of unease. It’s OK. You’re used to it. Most of the time it’s background noise.

It’s varied at different times in my life.
