Citalopram Tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of depression. The efficacy of Citalopram Tablets, USP in the treatment of depression was established in 4 to 6 week, controlled trials of outpatients whose diagnosis corresponded most closely to the DSM-III and DSM-III-R category of major depressive disorder (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY ). Nevertheless, the physician who elects to use Citalopram Tablets, USP for extended periods should periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.

Hello, Ive been on Citalopram for four or five years, the only side effect i I only took the tablet for 3days an experienced terrible side effects.

Could physically not have went on how i was and emotionally not as edgy or anxious. Would not hesitate to say to anyone give it a try see how you go don't knock it down give it a chance.

everyone I knew who was prescribed it for pain, or for sleep all gained weight. Best of Luck. J. I would be curious of anyone has either lost or gained on Celera. In live in the US and was put on nortriptyline. wait a week or two then take the full 10 mg pill.
