I take 0.5 mg late in the morning and 1.5 mg at bedtime. It doesn't help me sleep anymore. What can I do? I don't want to increase my dosage.

Clonazepam/Klonopin - Effects on sleep: I used to take just one clonazepam every morning did help my anxiety and it did help my mania too.

Never had any withdrawls either. Now this is. either. Don't know why.

If you only take the drug PRN or occasionally and never allow your brain to become addicted, you will probably continue to experience this sleep effect you mentioned. When I 1st began klonopin, it made me really sleepy too but after about 2 weeks of use, this went away but the drug continued to block panic and reduce anxiety for many years afterwards until I became tolerant.

I take Clonazepam for sleep. I find it really does help me sleep better. When I get good sleep I usually feel a lot better longer then following day.

I dread the day when they try to make me stop taking it!!

I can handle IKEA. Has anyone found that it mummifies them? All my friends are worried about me taking it and l me stories about friends & relatives who just wander around in a drugged state while on it.it doesn't affect me that way. It doesn't even make me sleepy. I can go to WalMart once I've taken it. It allows me to behave normally (whatever normally means LOL).

That's just my opinion though.
