It is, therefore, usually not used as an anti-anxiety drug (such as Benzodiazepines ), as the patients may be liable to make very poor judgment decisions (as they are, in essence, mentally 'asleep') and attempt dangerous activities, even with potentially no recollection of any of the events afterward.
